What a Beautiful Site - Glades RV and Marina Park

Mike, the pups and I arrived at the boat yesterday. We had some excitement when we let our rental car run out of gas on the drive from Jacksonville to here. After AAA brought us some gas, :-) we continued on. We picked up some groceries and had a nice meal from Davide Italian Cafe.
We left the marina around 10am. We had a snafu with our GPS and she was saying we were off the coast of Africa but she finally found herself. Thank Goodness!
We went though Ft Meyers and we had never seen so many boats heading out. Hundreds! It was the first day people were allowed to use the boat ramps again. It was madness. We were thankful we were going the other way.
It was very hot and everything was taking longer. We could not go very fast because people were in the Okeechobee Waterway fishing and swimming and we had to be careful with our wake.We had hoped to make it to Roland Martin Marina in Clewston, but we did not make the Moore Haven Lock before it closed for the night so we had to reroute.
I found a place called Glades Marina and called them. He said to come on. It was not much to look at but we had power and a place to dock and walk the puppies. To us it was the prettiest site we had ever seen!
