We left about 10am this morning. Not much boat traffic. Waves were behind us so we had a nice ride to Chicago. Really neat seeing the city come into view.

Found the marina. It was so busy. Boats everywhere! Not fun for either of us. There were boats with loud people on them, just a zoo. Found our slip and someone was in it. Tried to dock next to it until we called the marina and a guy came and yelled at us and said that belonged to a tour boat and we couldn’t do it. Found another slip and docked. Marina said the boat was supposed to be leaving. After 30 minutes they just gave us a different slip. It was a 100’ so plenty of room. Tour boat beside us there also. And a concert going on. No quiet marina tonight. We called a Uber and had a very nice dinner at Eddie V’s. Uber back and bedtime. Nice day. Not sure about this marina though. I think we will stay elsewhere next time.
