We left the quiet marina of Spanish. We had approximately 75 nautical miles ahead today.
Weather once again was very nice for us. We were so fortunate on this entire journey. Risk & Reward did great! We learned lots about her and her us.
We stayed at Drummond Island Yacht Haven. Careful upon approach. There is a shoal that runs north and south to the east of the marina's entrance channel. The marina can be identified by the large american flag flying. They have lots to offer including cottages that can be rented near a nice beach.
Drummond Island Yacht Haven is a port of entry for entering Canada or returning to the United States.
I highly recommend that before you make your journey out of and back to the U.S., that you go to DTOPS and order a decal for your boat. You can get one for the year. Also, download the CBP ROAM app and go thru all the info it asks and log your trip. It will make returning to the U.S. much easier. I had not done this ahead of time and it took about 15 minutes in a little office at the marina doing all of this on an ipad.
The marina is a great spot for sunsets. They were really breathtaking. Rascal and Lilly enjoyed eating all the crayfish parts the sea gulls had left behind. The marina also has a few cars available for rental. This is a nice feature. We were able to get one and take to dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend Northwood Restaurant and Bar. Service is good and food is good. Nice local restaurant.

We were not able to go there, but next time we are going to try Chuck's Place. We were told it is a great hang out and an interesting place.
We have been asked about the pups and how they are doing. They are doing great! They are growing up so fast and really getting the hang of boating. They do not seem to mind checking out new marinas and meeting new people. Here at Drummond Island they loved eating the left over craw-fish parts the seagulls had left. It was exercise for Mike and I to keep chasing them and having them drop whatever they had in their mouth.
We ran into some fellow boaters on their new Tiara, Baci. Baci's owners bought the boat after seeing Risk & Reward. They had asked us how we liked her and we raved about her. They decided a Tiara like her was the vessel for them. They seemed so happy to see us and show off Baci. Nice couple.
