Meldrum Bay - Rare And Beautiful
We began our North Channel Adventures by first stopping at Meldrum Bay. It happens to be the first Canadian Customs port for boats heading east. What a great spot. We stayed at the Meldrum Bay Marina. Nice marina. We made some friends while there. No Drama was there with their dogs Zach and Sheila and the Karen Kay was there as well.

If you go to Meldrum Bay we highly recommend eating at the Meldrum Bay Inn. It is a great restaurant! Food and service were wonderful. You should make reservations though. It is quite popular.
There is also the Olde General Store there where if you are planning on stopping at Meldrum Bay, you can call them ahead and they can order you any supplies you made need or want.

The weather was in the mid-70s and sunny. Perfect dinghy weather! The water was so clear. The water temp was about 65 but that did not stop us from dipping our toes in. We did not take the pups with us. They stayed behind to guard the boat. Next time...
This was such a peacful spot. We will definately return.
